A Must-See Historical Site: Old Mission Santa Barbara

IMG-7317

We love taking our guests to see the Old Mission Santa Barbara; it’s one of those “must-see” sites one shouldn’t miss while visiting the area. Situated on 13 acres overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the Mission grounds include the beautiful Mission church, Historic Cemetery and Mausoleum, a wonderful in-depth museum, plenty of historical artwork and artifacts and multiple breathtaking gardens. If planning a day touring Santa Barbara, this is the number one historical destination we’d recommend folks don’t miss. We visit the Queen of Missions on many of our tours, including most of our city history tours, and on some of our wine and beer tours. It truly is the gem of the California Missions, with it’s magnificent architecture and glorious views of the Pacific, so don’t miss it if you’re in town.

This is a photo of our guests enjoying a very special wine & chocolate pairing at the Sanford Winery Tasting Room in Santa Barbara, on a custom luxury tour we created just for them. It was a pretty amazing day 🙂

We absolutely LOVE creating custom tour experiences for our guests; it is so fun! We like to offer plenty of options for our visitors here in Santa Barbara, and that’s easy to do. You can explore history at the Santa Barbara Mission, or stop for cocktails at the Four Seasons Resort at the Biltmore, if relaxing is your thing. You can even book a private  surfing lesson to be enjoyed at sunrise…..we’ve got so many ideas. There is always something to do in Santa Barbara. Whether you prefer the sand and sea, or visiting breweries and eating chicken and waffles, we’ve got you covered. We know where to find the good stuff. Yum and Yay! Let’s go!

Cheers!
